PSI Exam Virginia

How to take the Virginia License Exam
PSI Exam Virginia

The Virginia real estate license exam is run by PSI, a company that provides testing services for real estate licensing in many states.  PSI also has testing services for many other professions.  Information below is provided by  VaRealtySchool.com, the licensing school for Virginia real estate.

If you have already taken and passed the Principles of Real Estate course (the required pre-license exam), then you can apply to take the exam.
You can see the schedule AND apply online:  https://test-takers.psiexams.com/vare
There are also options to apply by mail, telephone and fax.  See the Candidate Information Booklet.
For Virginia applicants, the best phone number to call PSI is 855-340-3910.  (We recommend this special number as it is the PSI number for Virginia only, not the national number on their website.)

You need to first pass the pre-license course to take the exam.  Available here.

State portion:  75% (30 out of 40)  45 minutes
There are 5-10 additional questions that don’t count toward your time or score.
