The Virginia real estate license exam is run by PSI, a company that provides testing services for real estate licensing in many states. PSI also has testing services for many other professions.

Passing scores: National portion: 70% (56 out of 80) State portion: 75% (30 out of 40).
Exam Time: National- 1 hour 45 minutes Virginia- 45 minutes
There are 5-10 additional questions that don’t count toward your time or score.
If you don’t pass National or State, you only need to retake the one you failed. But you need to reschedule.
There is is no limit on retakes. It costs $60 whether you are taking one or both exam portions.
Exam Prep: View online exam prep. These include practice exams that you can customize based on subject. There is an option for the video exam prep that has explanations of key concepts. The practice tests are for National and VA State exam portions, but there are options for either national or state.
